Marvel’s Avengers hit all theaters this Friday, May 4th.
So this First Friday let’s make it a family movie night everyone. The movie is rated PG-13, so its safe for the kids to watch. Grab the popcorn, drinks, and we cant forget the Mike & Ike(my favorite) & head down to The Grand Theater-Amstar 16 located at 5996 Zebulon Rd. Macon Ga 31210 & to watch this movie. Here is what the movie is about:
The Avengers is a team of fictional superhero characters in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Originally created using preexisting Marvel characters, variously created by writer-editor Stan Lee, artist and co-plotter Jack Kirby and others, the team first appeared in The Avengers #1 (Sept. 1963). Labelled “Earth’s Mightiest Heroes”, the Avengers originally consisted of Ant-Man, Wasp, Thor, Iron Man, and the Hulk. Almost from inception, however, the roster has been fluid – the Hulk departed and Captain America joined the team within the first four issues of the series. The rotating roster has become a hallmark of the team, although one theme remains consistent: the Avengers fight the foes no single superhero can withstand – hence their famous cry of “Avengers Assemble!” The team has featured humans, robots, gods, aliens, supernatural beings and even former villains.
The cast consists of:
Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), The Hulk (a motion-captured Mark Ruffalo), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), & Nick Fury(Samuel L. Jackson).
