Mother’s Day is in 3 days(which is Sunday) and if you haven’t already gotten your mother, grandmother, or wife her gift, then I think today would be the great time to beat the rush and go ahead and get the gift. There are a few key pointers everyone should know before they spend endless hours searching for the perfect gift.
1st: Have a clear idea of what the person likes and dislikes
2nd: Find out their clothing and shoe sizes
3rd: When in doubt, a gift card to the favorite store will always win every time
Don’t fret though, The Guru has you all covered ladies & gents. I will add a few ideas, examples, & creative ideas to give you a lasting impressions on this Mother’s Day & keep you out of the doghouse guys.
Fragrances: Selecting the right fragrance is not as easy as people might think it is, the scent needs to balance with each person’s body & fit their personality. Some women like subtle scents or sweet and fruity scents. The best way to cheat is to look through their collection of what they already have or just buy their favorite fragrance. You can never go wrong with buying something you know for a fact the person already loves and adorns.
Gift baskets: Creativity is the greatest asset to gift-giving, so why not create a fantasy of goodies for them to enjoy on their special day. Grab a list of her favorite foods, desserts, scents, & other little trinkets that can be placed in a gift basket, so not only can they enjoy one gift, but a plethora of items to enjoy. Jewelry is also a great idea to add into your gift basket whether it be a matching set or earrings & necklace or a ring.
Clothing & shoes: I try to get the fellas to avoid this area right here especially if you unaware of what she likes, not up-to- date with fashion, & completely suck at picking out clothing and shoes. But however mastering this feat is not hard at all. Call your Mother’s best friend and get some helpful hints on what she might have had her eye on for the last couple of months. Find out where the items can be purchased at and have at it. There is always more than one way to skin a cat, like my grandmother would say lol!
Please do not forget the Mother’s Day card, flowers, brunch out with the family, or even that special dinner prepared by yourself and the kids to show Mom how much you greatly appreciate her for her hard work and dedication to the family.
