Guru Review: First Friday at Asylum & Powerstation

The First Friday of the month always seems to bring out most patrons whom decide to party hard one night out of the month versus the normal club hopping style of the younger crowd. So when Out & About on a First Friday, you are bound to see a few unfamiliar faces you don’t always see in the club. No worries though, Asylum had a substantial crowd of party-goers as they brought it in for the “Encore” Customer Appreciation Night to show their support of their fellow followers with Nxt Level ENT & Team BBC.

A few blocks over, The Social Network took part in their Toga Party at Powerstation Nightclub with DJ Laylo spinning Top 40 all night long. I was a little disappointed not to see that many(well really one guy) in a toga, but hey it looks as though the people still enjoyed themselves and make your party-goers happy is the #1 task on the list of promoting an event. If you went to either one of these events this past weekend, feel free to voice your opinions about either one by commenting on the post.

I am sad to hear that, but sometimes in the promotion world things like that can happen. But as long as you enjoyed your First Friday this month, that is great to hear. Hope to hear back from you soon.

Powerstation was dead at 12. It was only about 15 – 20 customers there. I left and went to another place that is always packed on first Friday. Even the bartender left Powerstation and went to another club
